About me: I’m a photographer, writer, editor, musician, and radio DJ (WFMU). See individual sections of the site for details.

Starting May 2026, I’ll be producing “Shooting with Dave,” a regular feature on the London-based Pod Integral (video) podcast that will document my photo jaunts around Brooklyn.

I co-founded the Conflux Festival (an annual art festival in NYC devoted to psychogeography and city-based art) with my wonderful friend Christina Ray, and co-curated it with her for about nine years, 2003–2011.

For many years I worked as a software developer on Wall Street. Along the way I got my Series 7 and Series 63 licenses. I no longer do that.

If you care about these things: I have a B.S. in Computer and Information Science from Brooklyn College, and I did some work towards an uncompleted Master’s degree in Linguistics at N.Y.U.
